Beaumont Village Hall February 2007

  1. The work on the extensions is due to begin soon. The first phase is to extend the hall and kitchen to provide adequate storage and improve the facilities and to renew the floor. This work should be finished by May providing the weather permits. We then propose to renew the windows and replace the heating system. The timing of this work will depend upon us being able to obtain a grant. A small tarmaced area is to be provided in front of the hall to provide parking and access for disabled.
  2. The New Year’s Party was a tremendous success once again thanks to the efforts of Jane Wright and Tracy Stevens. Thanks to them for their efforts. Next year is already booked so make a note in your diary.
  3. The 100+ club tickets have all been sold and the new draws have begun. Thanks to everyone, again, for supporting the 100+ club, which raises valuable funds for the hall.
  4. We would like to see more local use of the hall. Please remember that we exist when you are planning your function.
  5. A full safety inspection has been carried out in the hall including an asbestos examination.. We are pleased to say that all is well.
